Sunday 24th February 2019 : Elephant House £1 Clearout - NO RESERVES

Monday update:
250 lots so far, probably about half-way, still lots to sort out so check back regularly for updates. View catalogue progress here

NOTE: if you spot something of yours listed that you'd rather have back, then get in touch ASAP and come fetch it BEFORE THE AUCTION - otherwise it gets SOLD! - we need the space.

We're clearing the Elephant House of all the stuff that's accumulated over the past 2 years or so - including unsold items that are lingering around, items that have never been collected by buyers / sellers, or just random stuff that came in with other consignments, but didn't really fit into the normal 'theme' of our auctions. Everything goes under the hammer at NO RESERVE - and everything starts at £1!

More 2019 Auction Dates

Since we cranked-up again last month, things have gone a little crazy, with 3 single-owner dispersal auctions coming in (and further enquiries for more!), plus we turned away many items for the November auction as we simply could not fit any more in the building.

A list of dates up to the end of March are on the Auctions page

Results of Sunday 18th November : Vintage Amusements

It's been a tough year all round, but we finished it of with a massive auction, so big indeed that people were literally stood out in the street trying to bid as we couldn't get everyone in, despite not even having any chairs this time. The resulting queue of around 200 buyers all trying to pay at once took a while to get through - sorry everyone!, but it just does take time to print invoices, count money, process card payments, and nearly every buyer has at least one question!... But, it was by far the biggest Vintage Amusements sale of the year, with a fantastic variety of quality items sold, with very good prices all round. A long day for everyone, but buyers and sellers alike all seemed very pleased with their trades.

Full prices achieved now available on the Results page, with six items making it into our top 100
